Which type of traffic is better? Organic or Paid Traffic? This blog post will help you to understand the difference.
Organic traffic is free and paid traffic costs money. For example, if your website has a lot of visitors one day but not many the next, it’s likely because someone clicked on an ad that led them to your site.
So you are paying for those visits with advertising dollars–you’re buying that traffic instead of earning it organically by getting people there through social media posts or search engine optimization. The best-case scenario would be if you had enough organic traffic coming in so that you could afford to pay for ads and still turn a profit.
Paid Traffic Vs. Organic Traffic
Paid traffic and organic traffic are two different types of ways to bring visitors or customers to your website. Paid marketing uses paid ads like Google Adwords to direct people toward a product, service, business location, etc., whereas in the case of organic search engine optimization (SEO), one can drive relevant targeted users through an optimized page ranking on popular Search Engines like Google and Bing.
When you pay for traffic, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the users will be helpful to your website’s goals. If a user clicks on an ad and bounces away from your site without staying or taking any action towards converting into what you want them to do (like sign up) then they are not valuable in terms of paid advertising.
When using organic traffic, however this is when there isn’t money being exchanged between two parties; instead Google sends people who have been searching for keywords related to whatever industry/businesses services provided by your products/services through search engines like Bing & Google which increases visibility since these individuals would already know something about their business before visiting as opposed with those whom can potentially end-up clicking ads.
